Wow - what a drought we're having, eh?

We face a century in which water may surpass oil as the most essential and sought-after substance, coupled with a growing push towards privatization. This guy is definitely getting an early lead.

And it appears as though he's been there a while - intently checking the previous day's stock closes, oblivious to the sprayjob he's pouring on. Symbolizing America, he stands alone, isolated in undeserving luxury, wasting the resources of the world. For crimminy sake, look at the pressure on that hose! At that velocity, he should be done in 2 seconds - plenty of time in which to read a newspaper, right? Just throw the thing in the pool, will ya? Based on his physique, and the sparseness of his surroundings, we venture to say the pool doesn't get all that much use anyway.

If just for a moment, remind yourself that the going stat on "no access to safe drinking water" stands at 1 in 5 humans. Showing the world this blatant waste (and hoarding, in the case of the pool) of water is just one of many reasons of "why they hate us". We waste an incredible amount of resources, while other parts of the world are in desperate need, and, in fact, we consume more than we produce ... giving us a trade deficit of $214 billion (as of this writing) this year alone.
